About

A poem I wrote a few years ago that has led me to become a Vivacious Entrepreneur…

ROADs

Never know why the hell you’re here in the first place
Forced to choose a road from day-to-day
Assume it’s right when it’s really wrong
It comes right back around like it was from dusk till dawn
You have to make a change and got to do it now
‘Cause when it’s too late you be wondering, “How did that all go down?”
Don’t give up your dream; don’t listen to people’s opinions
They don’t walk in your shoes and this my friend is a reason

There are too many roads to choose from day-to-day
They turn you around facing the other wrong way
There are no stop signs to tell you to slow down
Sooner or later you’ll hear a silent funeral sound

Always trust your heart and always trust your gut
They will never let you down,
So don’t ever say “I won’t”
A lot of people will disappoint you, that’s just how life is
Always look to experiences as a new bright light
Someday they will come in handy as a word of advice
You don’t have to listen to me; I’m just here to live my life
But if you come to me with some dignity, I will show you a thing or twice

Wet, dirty, worn-out roads
Leave you with enough emotion to put you in a psyche ward
Never clean, never dry
Look to the truth in the unborn sky
